As a service business we try to minimize the impact our business has on the environment. We put policies in place to help reduce waste and curb negative environmental effects. We are developing new programs to help educate our associates on ways that they can help the environment, promoting "green" decision making at work and at home and encouraging all associates to share in this important mission.

Some of the things we are doing as a company to help the environment include:

• On-site recycling programs for paper, plastic and glass
• Monthly drawing for reserved parking spaces for associates who carpool or drive fuel-efficient vehicles
• Minimize paper usage through defined processes for business documents (e.g. presenter brings all copies to meetings, all copiers defaulted to print double sided)
• Internal "Green team" that helps generate new ideas and implement office procedures and polices
• Ongoing corporate communications program that keeps environmental considerations top of mind for associates
• Environmentally friendly office paper specifications
• No foam or paper cups; ceramic mugs used throughout Avendra headquarters
• Carpooling groups and incentives for public transportation use
• Pre-tax deduction for transit costs
