Chief Financial Officer

Robert Heaton is chief financial officer of Avendra.  He oversees all aspects of the company’s capital structure, financial operations, business development and long-term strategic planning. 

Robert comes to Avendra from Agentrics (formerly Worldwide Retail Exchange), a full-service solution platform for the retail and consumer goods industry in the areas of sourcing, demand chain management, data synchronization and product lifecycle management, where he was CFO.  While at Agentrics, he led the integration of merged businesses and built the company’s finance and accounting function.

Prior to Agentrics, Robert spent 13 years with Target Stores in a number of financial positions.  While at Target, he led a team that developed and implemented major changes to their pricing strategy, improved inventory turnover, and oversaw the strategic direction of Target’s new financial system.

Robert has an MBA degree with an emphasis in Finance, as well as a combined double degree with a Bachelor of Arts in Chinese and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Brigham Young University.
