Avendra Announces Signing of Portfolio Hotels & Resorts   

Hotel Management Company’s 15 Hotels to Utilize Avendra’s Comprehensive Procurement Services

ROCKVILLE, MD – March 17, 2008 – Avendra, the hospitality industry’s leading procurement services company with $3 billion in purchasing volume, announced the signing of Portfolio Hotels & Resorts, a hotel management company headquartered in Oak Brook, IL, with a current portfolio of 15 branded and independent hotels.  Portfolio Hotels & Resorts will be leveraging Avendra’s key purchasing programs, including: food & beverage, rooms operations, engineering, administrative, cleaning chemicals and sanitizing systems, hotel gift shop and retail, smallwares, china, glass and silver, and spa supplies.  The contract also includes access to Avendra Replenishment Group—Avendra’s one-stop-shop for replacement kitchen equipment and decorative furnishings.
