Avendra believes in engaging all associates in a dialogue about our business. Through a wide range of formal and informal approaches associates are encouraged to understand key business metrics, ask questions and stay informed.
The foundation of our culture is an open door communications policy. At Avendra, open door means associates are welcome to drop by, or request an appointment with co-workers, managers, supervisors or executives at any time. The president’s door is also open to all associates. Open communication is the foundation for an excellent work environment and a successful business team.
Avendra’s Associate Newsletter Insights is published monthly with associate recognition articles, news for/and about associates, and company news. The lead article for each edition is a letter from the President & CEO, Dennis Baker.
Quarterly Town Hall meetings keep associates informed of what is going on in every department of the company. During this meeting, updates on business goals and major initiatives are reviewed. Town Hall meetings are broadcast to associates located around the country through interactive meeting technology which allows for video streaming of speakers and presentations, questions, etc. At the end of every Town Hall, associates are encouraged to ask questions and engage executives in discussions about the company.
"Breakfast with Dennis" is a small, informal meeting with Avendra’s President and CEO, Dennis Baker. Throughout the year, associates are invited to an informal meeting with Dennis to discuss company activities, ask questions and learn more about the state of the industry.
