1. What do you do at Avendra International?
I’m a Senior Client Procurement Manager, supporting clients in childcare, NHS, education, and hospitality, ensuring efficient supply chains and providing solutions to support their business needs.
2. Can you tell us about your background and expertise in the industry?
I’ve been with Avendra International for many years, gaining expertise through various roles within the company and earning my MCIPS qualification through part-time study.
3. How long have you been part of the Avendra International team?
I am celebrating my 13th year this March.
4. What do you think about our team and company culture?
At Avendra International, we celebrate diversity, challenge norms, and work together to support each other and help our clients achieve their goals.
5. What is your favourite thing about working here?
My favourite thing is the people. We achieve great things together, supported by teamwork and a shared sense of humour.
6. What does a typical workday look like for you?
No two days are the same in my role. I love the variety, constant learning, and achieving things I didn’t think possible across diverse supply chains.
7. Can you share a project you’ve worked on that you’re particularly proud of?
I’m proud of many projects at Avendra International, especially the patient catering supply chain created with Ashford & St Peter’s Hospitals. It united teams to improve patient meal experiences and introduced SMEs to the NHS, fostering a diverse supply base.
8. What’s one thing you’re excited about in the future for both your career and Avendra International?
I’m excited to see Avendra International expand globally and hope to experience working in different countries and contributing to global procurement strategy.
9. Can you share your favourite hobby?
I'm a baker known for my popular digger and unicorn cakes at my nephews' and nieces' birthday parties. I was also a joint winner at a work baking challenge for my brownies!
