Since its founding in 1895, The Cincinnati Country Club has stood as a beacon of excellence, operating exclusively on an invite-only basis. As one of the longest-standing country clubs in the United States, maintaining its legacy is crucial for continued success. For nearly two years, Avendra Clubs has supported this iconic club by streamlining its procurement processes, which enhances member experiences and supports superb amenities.

To consistently uphold the standards synonymous with The Cincinnati Country Club, the quality of products, services and amenities is paramount. When Joe Zinchini, the club’s former golf professional who now serves as Chief Operating Officer and General Manager, sought to make the club’s purchasing more efficient while maintaining top-notch standards, he explored procurement solutions.

Joe and his team were impressed by the savings, including the culinary team who receive high-quality and specialty food and beverage items as well as essential items like plastics and nitro gloves used in the kitchen. They can continue to work with many of the same local and regional suppliers and achieve great savings while doing so.

“The Cincinnati Country Club is a very private, invitation-only club, and we have high standards to uphold. The better the club performs, the more our members are inclined to refer their friends for membership,” explains Joe. The club has seen substantial savings without compromising on quality--critical to delivering a great member experience.

“I don’t know why any club wouldn’t want to work with Avendra Clubs. They’ve done a fantastic job of helping us,” says Joe. “It’s rewarding to be at a point where we can quantify our relationship and clearly see the results of our collaboration with Avendra Clubs.”
