Conducting business with integrity
Avendra has processes in place to help ensure high standards of conduct are continually met and monitored. On an annual basis, all Avendra associates are required to read, sign and adhere to the principles discussed in Avendra’s Business Conduct Guide and certify that their conduct is in keeping with the principles set out in the Guide.
In addition, Avendra expects its suppliers to conduct their businesses in a manner consistent with the standards set forth in Avendra’s Supplier Conduct Guidelines.
Maintaining integrity in everything we do
Avendra has put in place a wide range of programs to ensure the highest levels of integrity are upheld. Senior managers update and assess business risk and validate controls in their respective areas of responsibility on an annual basis. All risks, controls and key processes are documented and approved by executive leadership and the Internal Audit department and are reviewed by the Audit Committee of The Board of Managers and our external audit firm. The regular review of these controls ensures we add and augment new protocols as our business changes. Finally, Avendra maintains an independently managed Ethics Hotline which allows associates to report behavior and incidents which may be inconsistent with expected guidelines.
By clearly outlining expectations of our associates, putting processes in place to facilitate adherence to those expectations and ensuring there are independent, transparent protocols in place for ongoing monitoring, we create a strong foundation for success.
